DRAFTER / DESIGNER
JOB OVERVIEW
The Drafter / Designer will prepare plans for shoring, retaining walls and ground improvement for use in estimating and design. This position is based out of Northern California and will report to the District Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create shoring, retaining wall and/or ground improvement drawings for estimating and construction from plans from a variety of disciplines including Civil, Architectural and Structural
  • Create scaled plan, elevation, section and detail views
  • Callout dimensions, materials, and procedures
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Ability to work from drawings of multiple disciplines (Ex: combining information from Civil, Architectural and Structural drawings)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Understanding of BIM execution plans and BIM360
  • Experience with civil and structural engineering, shoring experience preferred
  • Outstanding speaking, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
